Indian Drugmaker Sun Pharma received a Nod from US drug regulator NDA for generic version of Januvia , The drug Sitagliptin , the blockbuster anti-diabetes drug. The earliest that Sun Pharma can launch the generic version of the drug is in 2022. This move comes into light only months after MSD sued Glenmark alleging that its recently launched anti-diabetes drugs infringe its patent coverage of Jaunvia (Sitagliptin)and Janumet (Vildgliptin)
